Veterans for America First (VFAF) proudly endorses Ricardo “Rick” Martinez, Republican nominee for Texas House District 125, in the November 3, 2026 general election.
Martinez is a conservative Republican, entrepreneur, community leader, and family man who has built his life around service, responsibility, and support for the people of Texas.
Born on a United States Army installation in Germany to a U.S. Army father and German mother, Martinez grew up with a firsthand appreciation for military service, sacrifice, discipline, and the freedoms that define the United States. His upbringing in a military family helped shape the values that continue to guide his public service and community involvement.
For more than a decade, Martinez has called San Antonio home. He has built a successful business, founded a charitable organization, supported homeless veterans, helped provide food to families in need, and worked alongside organizations serving children, first responders, and communities impacted by disaster.
Martinez is running to represent Texas House District 125 with a platform focused on defending Texas families, supporting law enforcement and the military, strengthening public safety, reducing the burden of property taxes, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and creating greater economic opportunity for working families.
